Benwell’s Luggage Keys
A set of baggage keys were
discovered in the possession of
Reginald Birchall upon his arrest.
The keys belonged to Frederick
Benwell’s luggage. When
questioned Birchall stated that he
was given the keys by Benwell after
they separated the night he was
killed. Benwell had wanted Birchall
to ship him his luggage once he
found a hotel in New York.
