Outbreak over at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock
Outbreak status has now been lifted at all Woodingford Lodge sites in Oxford County as of Wednesday, February 16, 2022. All Woodingford Lodge sites remainclosed to general visitors under the Government of Ontario's temporary measures for all long-term care homes.
Each resident at Woodingford Lodge will be permitted to have four designated caregivers, with a limit of two caregivers visiting at the same time.

Oxford County Library is gradually reopening rural branches as public health restrictions ease across the province. Operating hours will increase each week at most branches, with a return to regular operating hours expected by mid-April, barring staff issues or changes to public health guidelines. Read more in the news release. Oxford County Waste Management Facility to reopen on Saturdays starting February 26
The Oxford County Waste Management Facility in Salford will reopen on Saturdays to all customers starting February 26 as the province lifts more COVID-19 restrictions. The facility temporarily closed on Saturdays during the Modified Step Two of Ontario’s reopening plan to help alleviate staff shortages due to illness and isolation requirements for COVID-19 and reduce potential exposure to the virus. The facility will open to the public with regular business hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). EarlyON Child and Family Centres offering virtual programming Oxford EarlyON Child and Family Centres is offering additional programs in the Virtual Village this month, including Mother Goose and "Kindergarten, Here We Come!" EarlyON is also available for conversation in Parent Chats to talk about a variety of different topics, from child development to self-care, teething to toilet learning– come with your questions! Oxford County Archives is open by appointment only. Please contact the Archives to book an appointment during the hours of Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Archives staff is also available to respond to reference questions remotely at archives@oxfordcounty.ca. County Council meeting virtually
County Council meetings continue to be held virtually under Ontario's Modified Step Two. Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are broadcast live online at www.oxfordcounty.ca/livestream.
