Hear the ROAR of the Harvards at Tillsonburg Airport Fly Days. The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association invites you to their fly days at the Tillsonburg Airport. Come see the fleet of historic Harvard trainers as they take to the skies. Tour the hangars, talk to the volunteers, see the displays and enjoy a B-B-Q lunch. You can even book a crew ride in a Harvard.

Angling Outfitters
You can't beat the knowledgeable staff and great service. Their specialty is in fishing tackle and all related products, including all boating equipment and electronics. This retail store has recently moved from Dundas St., Woodstock to just west of Woodstock on Hwy #2, near the Oxford Drive-in.

Avon Trail
Avon Trail which covers 113 kilometres through scenic countryside. It begins where the Thames Valley Trail finishes in St. Marys and ends in the village of Conestogo where it meets the Grand Valley Trail. A very picturesque part of it winds through the Harrington area.

Cedar Creek Wetland
This provincially significant (Class 1) wetland is the source of Woodstock's water. Formerly called the Sweaburg Swamp, this historic area was the site of Hodge's Mill and Pond. It is now protected by the Upper Thames C.A. and Woodstock P.U.C.

Centreville Pond Park
A creek runs through the property. The dam is maintained by the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.
Chesney Wilderness Area Trail
The trail starts on a long wide grassy lane, which goes into a mature hardwood bush. It then goes into an array of vegetation: pine, cedar, wetland and field. There is one steeper hill, but is not overly difficult. A wonderful hike, particularly in its autumn glory. This 40.5 ha (100 aces) of land was the first reforestation plot in the County in 1944. Similar tracts were established in Drumbo, Centreville, Innerkip, Embro adn Lakeside. Length - 4 Km... Difficulty - Easy to moderate... Facilities - Parking... Trail Uses - Walking/cross-country skiing... Location - Oxford Road 29, just west of Oxford Road 22.

Dillon Park
The Norwich Arena and Horse Barn are located at this park which was named after Dillion Mac, a famous horse owned by Dr. Meldrum. The underlying concrete surface is original to the 1940's as is the ice making equipment.
Doors Open Oxford - The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association
The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, located at the Tillsonburg Airport, begins its 25th Anniversary Season. They will be celebrating Veterans & Youth Day and Doors Open Oxford on June 26th. “This will be a great day to honour our Veterans” mentions Bob Trowell from the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association. “We’re expecting large crowds to take in all of the festivities.” Special ceremonies will take place in the morning with many veterans and legion members present. The Ingersoll Pipe Band will provide stirring music to accompany the event. Memorial aircraft, flyovers along with the Harvard Aerobatic Team will add special significance to the occasion. Also visiting will be the only flying 2-seat P40 WWII fighter aircraft. The afternoon will see the dedication and first official flight of the restored Yale aircraft.

Gopher Dunes ~ Off-Road Recreational Facility
Gopher Dunes is spread out over 205 acres of land, it consists of a large motocross track built on a sandy loam soil, a peewee track for the younger riders, an arenacross track, as well as a beginner track, for those just learning how to ride a dirt bike or quad. There are also three sets of marked trails totaling 29 km and carved through 100 acres of bush for leisurely and scenic rides. Gopher Dunes holds spring and fall Mudfests for 4x4 trucks. We also offer Honda Junior Red Rider beginner training programs with Honda dirt bike and quad rentals available for private and small group lessons plus advanced mx training schools offered.

The Great Lakes ATV Club, based in Innerkip, Ontario, is a proud member of the Ontario Federation of ATV Clubs (OFATV). We are a volunteer run, family oriented club that builds, monitors and maintains trails on private land in Oxford and Brant counties. We strive to provide safe, fun and scenic ATV riding in our regions, with respect for the land and landowners. All members benefit from access to OFATV and VMUTS trail access province wide.
