Food bank * volunteer-run program providing canned and boxed goods * bread * Emergency Walk-in Food Bank * once every 6 weeks assistance * limited baby food, formula and diapers (when available) * food assistance can be accessed by appointment once every six weeks if required * Drop-in coffee, baked goods and bread.

Operation Sharing—Food For Friends

22 Wilson St., Woodstock (College Ave. United Church) Peel St. entrance.

Families and individuals in need of emergency food assistance receive a specially designed food card in pre-determined denominations as an alternative or supplement to the food bank * individuals can use these cards to do their grocery shopping at any of the participating grocery stores in Woodstock and Ingersoll * funding for program is through the donation of quarters by the public at local businesses * this method of providing food assistance is vital for those with special diets or serious health issues * Meeting Place Coordinators oversee the food card distribution

Operation Sharing—The Inn Oxford’s Homeless Shelter

Old St. Paul's Anglican Church; 723 Dundas St Woodstock ON N4S 1E8

Provides shelter for homeless males and females 16 years and older * contact Chaplain Steve Giuliano for more details * shelter is located at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, Woodstock * operated by Operation Sharing and hosted by Old St Paul's Anglican Church * The Inn provides an evening meal as well as breakfast, access to washrooms, laundry and showers. Room has heat and air conditioning and there is a sliding divider between men and women.
