Green Fleet Plan (2021-2025)
The Green Fleet Plan supports Oxford County's community goal to achieve 100% Renewable Energy by 2050. Through its green fleet strategy, the County reduced fleet greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 9.3% between 2014 and 2019 (226 tonnes CO2e) and is on track to surpass its target of a 14.1% reduction by 2025. Oxford County currently operates and maintains a corporate fleet of about 184 vehicles, including ambulances, light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty construction equipment, tractors, snowplows and more.

Transportation Master Plan (2019)
The Oxford County Transportation Master Plan (TMP) is a strategic planning document that outlines and defines the policies, programs and infrastructure modifications needed to manage anticipated transportation demands to the year 2038 and beyond. The TMP is a multi-modal plan focusing on all modes of transportation, including walking, cycling, public transportation (i.e., transit, intercommunity bus, commuter rail), automobiles, motorcycles, etc. The TMP also supports provisions for freight/goods movement, agricultural mobility, corridor access management and low carbon transportation.

Energy Management Plan (2019)
The Energy Management Plan, now in its third instalment, complements the County's 100% renewable energy, zero waste, and zero poverty initiatives by further realizing energy savings and reducing the carbon footprint of Oxford County as an organization.

Annual Energy Consumption & GHG Emissions Inventory
As required by O. Reg. 507/18 made under the Electricity Act, 1998, Oxford County is required to report annual energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. As of July 1, 2019, fiscal year 2017 is being reported. For printed form, please visit the Customer Service desk at the Oxford County Administration Building at 21 Reeve Street in Woodstock.

100% Renewable Energy Plan (2018)
The Oxford County 100% Renewable Energy Plan is a dynamic roadmap to guide the County towards meeting the commitment to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2050. Since the first draft of the plan in 2016, much work as been done with the Smart Energy Oxford Action Committee, as part of the Future Oxford Partnership, to understand Oxford's energy consumption and efficiency opportunities and many actions have been undertaken to advance Oxford County towards a 100% renewable energy future.

Managed Forest Plan (2018)
The 20-year Managed Forest Plan is built around three primary objectives: i) generating a sustainable supply of forest products and revenue from those products; ii) managing forests to guard against flooding and erosion while protecting source water; and iii) providing opportunities for recreation (partnerships) and wildlife habitat. A detailed work shedule for the 10-year period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2017 is articulated in the plan.

Zero Waste Plan (2018)
Oxford County is continuing progress towards its Zero Waste objectives of reducing the amount of waste being produced in, and exported out of, Oxford County by maximizing recovery efforts and extending the lifespan of the Oxford County Waste Management Facility. In 2016, County Council received its first draft Zero Waste Plan. Working with the Zero Waste Oxford Action Committee, as part of the Future Oxford Partnership, much has been done to understand Oxford's waste composition and our opportunities to reduce waste and recover resources.

Achieving Zero Waste – A Waste Recovery and Reduction Technology Assessment update (2018)
Enhanced Material Recovery & Biological Treatment has emerged as the preferred technology that aims to recover as much as 90% of the materials that end up in our landfill. Using this unique but proven technology, garbage would be sorted with organics separated for processing in a manner which could produce biogas, biosolids and compost materials.
Other recyclable and recoverable materials like metals, plastics, construction and demolition materials would be separated and sold/distributed to various end markets. The goal would be to have as little as 10% of the material left to be disposed of in the landfill.

Public Works Annual Reports (2020)
Annual reports are required to be submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) to fulfill regulatory requirements of the Ontario Safe Water Drinking Act (water), Environmental Compliance Approval (wastewater). Waste Management reporting is also required to fulfill requirements of the Oxford County Waste Management Facility and Operations.
