December 22, 2017: Water tower maintenance
The maintenance work at the Ingersoll Water Tower has been completed and the tower is now back online.
December 13, 2017: Water tower maintenance
Oxford County plans to have the Ingersoll Water Tower offline from December 17 - 24 for maintenance work. Customers may notice some fluctuation in water pressure. The County apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.

July 25, 2017: GM CAMI Fire Flow Testing
The GM CAMI plant is scheduled to perform fire flow testing on July 25 from 9 am until noon. Customers in the southwest part of town may notice some fluctuation in water pressure. If discoloured water is noticed please run an outside tap until the water clears up.The County apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
September 1, 2015: Watermain Inspection
Oxford County plans to perform watermain inspection work in the area around Winders Trail and Lewis Lane on September 8 & 9 between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work crews will be in the area during this time and we do not expect any impact on the water service.

July 7, 2015: Watermain flushing on George Street
Oxford County plans to perform weekly flushings of the water hydrantnearthe intersection ofGeorge Street and Cambridge Street in Ingersoll. This will take place every Wednesday until the end of August, to help prevent discoloured water.
November 19, 2014: Well 8
Oxford County will soon start pumping again from Well 8 located at the Dunn’s Rd Water Treatment Facility in the north east area of Ingersoll. The facility has been offline for 4 weeks for scheduled maintenance work on the well. Residents may notice discoloured water or sediment due to the start-up as water flow patterns in the distribution watermains will change. If you have discoloured water, flush your household water lines by running water through an outside tap or a laundry faucet that is not connected to a water softener or filter.
August 26, 2014: Watermain flushing
Oxford County plans to perform additional flushing of the watermains in the area along George Street in Ingersoll to help prevent discoloured water on August 26-29. Residents may notice discoloured water or sediment during this period. If you have discoloured water, flush your household water lines by running water through an outside tap or a laundry faucet that is not connected to a water softener or filter.
April 23, 2014: Water main flushing
Spring flushing Regular spring flushing of water mains will take place from Sunday, April 27 until Friday, May 2, starting in the southwest area of Ingersoll. Residents may notice discoloured water or sediment during this period. If you have discoloured water, flush your household water lines by running water through an outside tap or a laundry faucet that is not connected to a water softener or filter.
December 2, 2013: Water tower maintenance
Oxford County is continuing with scheduled maintenance work on the Ingersoll Water Tower. The Tower will remain offline until December 9.
