Where to stay

Looking for a comfortable bed for the night? With Canada’s busiest Highway 401 intersecting with Highway 403, and slicing through Oxford, we’re visited by
great folks from Canada and afar. Our Visitor Information Centre in the lobby of the Quality Hotel at 401 and Norwich Avenue Exit contains overnight literature for the region. Overnight stays range from hotels, motels and even an inn, to friendly bed and breakfast hosts and campgrounds.,

The Elm Hurst Inn and Country Spa, Ingersoll offers restaurant, spa and adjoining walking trails. The Comfort Inn, Ingersoll has an indoor pool, for family fun year round. The Howard Johnston Tillsonburg, with restaurant and spa is conveniently located on Highway 3. The Microtel Inn & Suites, Woodstock with 74 rooms and an indoor salt water pool, looks over the Cedar Creek golf course near the 401. The Quality Hotel & Suites Convention Centre at Woodstock has dining and fitness centre options included. All four offer complimentary breakfast.

If you prefer B & B’s, you can choose from among 25 local hosts such as Just for You, Simple Pleasures or Sullivan manor near Thamesford, Zeelandia, or the Carriage House at Norwich. The Upper Thames Pittock Lake Conservation Authority provides camping, boating and fishing experiences. And if you’re traveling south of Highway 401, Spring Lake RV Resort is a popular camping option.
