Flag notice: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women & Wrapped in Courage Campaign

"End Gender-Based Violence" flag to be flown Nov 25 - Dec 2 at Oxford County Administration Building


Take Action! - Wrapped In CourageThe Oxford County flag at the Oxford County Administration Building will be replaced with the "End Gender-Based Violence" purple flag with the Wrapped in Courage campaign logo on Thursday, November 25, in recognition of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women / Wrapped in Courage Campaign / 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence. The flag will be flown until Thursday, December 2.

At the regular County Council meeting of November 24, County Council will proclaim November 25 Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in Oxford County. Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO) will be in attendance at Council to receive the Proclamation certificate.
