Culvert replacements

Oxford County has awarded a contract to replace culverts on Oxford Road 20, between Pigram Road and Oxford Road 10, to Coco Paving Ltd. of Tecumseh, Ontario. The work includes culvert replacements, and restoration works as required. '

This work is tentatively scheduled to start in June and be complete by August. Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change based on the contractor's availability and other operational demands. The approximate construction limits are shown (highlighted orange) in the map details above.

What you need to know

Traffic on Oxford Road 20 will be limited to local residents, businesses, and emergency services during construction. During the culvert replacements, Oxford Road 20 will be closed to through traffic between Pigram Road and Oxford Road 10. The contractor is required to maintain access as best as possible to all properties. Some short-term interruptions and delays can be expected during this work. A planned detour route will be in place for the road closure, including appropriate detour signage.

Please continue to have your regular household waste and recyclables to the roadside by 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day. If access for waste collection is interrupted by construction, the contractor will collect your bins and containers and take them to a central location for collection. Homeowners are asked to mark garbage and recycling containers with their house numbers so they can be returned to the correct properties.
