Oxford Road 20 at MN#163540 and MN#163539
Storm sewer repairs
Oxford County has awarded a contract to repair a small section of existing storm sewer on Oxford Road 20 between MN#163540 and MN#163539 to Coco Paving Ltd. of Tecumseh, Ontario. The work includes storm sewer repairs and restoration work to concrete curb and sidewalk, asphalt paving, and topsoil as required. This work is tentatively scheduled to take place in
July/August. Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change based on the contractor's availability and other operational demands. The approximate construction limits are shown (highlighted orange) in the map details above.
What you need to know
Oxford Road 20 will be restricted to one lane of traffic, controlled by traffic persons, during the contractor's working hours. During non-working hours, two lanes of traffic will resume. The contractor is required to maintain access, as best as possible, to all properties. Delays and interruptions can be expected during this work.
Please continue to have your regular household waste and recyclables to the roadside by 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day. If access for waste collection is interrupted by construction, the contractor will collect your bins and containers and take them to a central location for collection. Homeowners are asked to mark garbage and recycling containers with their house numbers so they can be returned to the correct properties.
